Placing and Order
Online ordering is convenient and easy. Simply click the “Add to Cart” button located next to your selected item and then follow the directions to complete your purchase. If you would like to place an order by phone, you may call our toll free number at 1-866-845-2869 and we will process your order. If you have any trouble ordering from our website, please call and we will help you place your order.
Payment and Sales Tax
We currently accept credit card payments from Visa and MasterCard. Personal checks and money orders are also accepted. There is a $32 charge for returned checks. Mailing address: Kandy Hill Kids 853 Five Point Road Virginia Beach, VA 23454.
Kandy Hill Kids is a Virginia based business and we must collect 5% sales tax on orders shipped to a Virginia address. Orders for items on the Kandy Hill Kids website placed outside of Virginia will not be charged sales tax, please follow your states tax laws.
Order Status
If you would like to check the status of your order, please send an email to customerservice@kandyhillkids.com and we will respond within 24 business hours. Please remember that production times for our items vary according to the individual product and are usually completed according to the lead times posted with each item. Shipping times will add an additional one to two weeks after completion of your item.
Shipping
Most of our items will ship via standard delivery through UPS, USPS, or FedEx ground service and your package will be left inside your doorway. Great care is taken to package our products to ensure safe delivery, however transit related damage can occur and therefore we suggest signature delivery of your items. Signature delivery requires that you are present when the delivery is made, however this will give you the opportunity to inspect the outside of your package for any transit damage. Do not accept a box that has dented corners, gashes, or others signs of damage, refuse the shipment. If the deliveryman will wait, you can unpack the item in their presence and inspect for damage. If the item is damaged do not accept it and note the item was refused due to damage. Please call us within 24 hours at 1-866-845-2869 to inform us of the damaged item. If the delivery person will not wait, please note that on the bill of lading they will ask you to sign.
Hidden Damage – Once a delivery is accepted and the item is unpacked, if there is any damage you are responsible for recovering the cost of your purchase and shipping costs from the carrier. Contact the carrier within 48 hours of receipt of the item and follow their guidelines for reporting the damage for reimbursement.
